Dealing with Feelings Pregnancy and Postpartum Support Group
meets every other Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. on the 4th floor of the Carol Jo Vecchie Women and Children's Center at HSHS St. John's Hospital. This group provides support to pregnant women and new moms experiencing emotional changes during pregnancy and after the birth of their baby. While not a therapy group, it is a safe place for women to find comfort, encouragement and to learn coping skills to help deal with a perinatal mood disorder. First Steps: Moms Support Group
meet every Wednesday from noon - 1:30 p.m. in the Carol Jo Vecchie Women and Children's Center at HSHS St. John's Hospital on the 4th floor. This group gives moms and their babies the chance to meet in a supportive atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch and join in lively, informative conversations conducted by St. John's Birth Center nurses. Share Support Group
meets the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. in St. Clare Annex near St. John's Chapel. This group is for people who have experienced pregnancy loss, stillbirth or infant loss. To learn more, call 217-525-5675.
